Tooling Repair

Tool holders and other durable tooling parts can become damaged through a variety of applications. Damaged tools can be repaired at a fraction of the price of a new tool; saving time and money. Most drills end mills and cutters can be reground and sharpened many times. The tool holders and other high value tooling that usually finds its way into the scrap bin when damaged can now be repaired and returned to service or original specifications.

Tooling and Regrind

Reground tools should provide at least 90% of original tool life at a repair cost significantly lower than new. STS has developed a program to maximize the value of your tooling through a process to regrind your tools to their original specifications at our facility.

Tooling Recycling

All tooling sooner or later loses its functionality and cannot be repaired or reground. Over time they add up to a sizeable investment and ultimately end up in the waste bin and landfill. Our sustainability programs provide a convenient way to recycle tools to assure that the environment is protected from non- biodegradable waste and after your company has received longest life possible out of its tooling.
