History
Established in 1938 as Supplies Incorporated, the company served Chicago, Wisconsin, and the Northern Indiana area selling abrasives, mill and cutting tool supplies. In the years following the war, Harold M.Taylor, acquired and redirected the focus of the company toward the future of the cutting tool industry.
With the acquisition of Peoria-based Sanders Tools in 1969, the
company expanded service to include Central Illinois. In 1994,
Supplies Incorporated merged with Sanders Tools to form a new
company named Sanders Tools & Supplies, Inc. and has been
serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Georgia, Indiana and Iowa
markets as an industry leader for distribution of Cutting Tools,
Fixturing, Precision Instruments, Precision Grinding and
Tool Sharpening.
