STS has been serving Illinois, Missouri, Georgia, Indiana, and Iowa markets for over 70 years.

Established in 1938 as Supplies Incorporated, the company served Chicago and the Northern Indiana area selling mill and cutting tool supplies. In the years following the war, Harold M. Taylor acquired and redirected the focus of the company toward the future of the cutting tool industry.

With the acquisition of Peoria-based Sanders Tools in 1969, the company expanded service to include Central Illinois. In 1994, Supplies, Inc. merged with Sanders Tools to form a new company named Sanders Tools & Supplies, Inc. (STS).

Today, the STS full-service office located in Peoria, IL maintains a tool grinding shop equipped with three Walter 5-Axis Helitronic Grinders, a band-saw blade weld center, and a complete warehouse facility. The shop and weld center employs 10 full-time associates. The shop and weld center employees attend technical workshops and classes to maintain proficiency and to learn the latest technology available. With a staff of over 50 employees, STS is able to provide the high quality service customers have come to expect. STS employees average 16 years industry experience.
